World Refugee Day is a great opportunity to put the UN Refugee Agency and refugee issues before new friends and to shine a much-deserved spotlight on the agency’s accomplishments.
Leading supporters of UNHCR from the government, the philanthropic community and the corporate world will attend a program that will include keynote speaker Seymour Hersh and additional noteworthy supporters of UNHCR and World Refugee Day.Members of the host committee and World Refugee Day Sponsors may participate in an exclusive VIP docent-led tour of the Phillips Gallery prior to the luncheon. During the tour, VIP guests will gain insight from museum docents about the extraordinary collection that includes nearly 3,000 works by American and European artists -- among them, Degas, Cezanne,Gaugin, van Gogh, Matisse, Picasso, Klee, Whistler, Homer, O'Keefe, Rothko and many more.
